Tread types
The following different tread types are available for the tires available at Weidemann. These are suitable for different application purposes and each present their own special features. This is how you can get the right tire for your work task and operational interest.
-
EM tread
The EM tread is particularly well suited to loose ground, like sand, gravel and ballast, as a result of almost parallel running fins. This tire type achieves a great contact area, as a result generating a high thrust power transmission and runs very smoothly on the road.
-
AS tread
The pointed fins ensure safe driving, particularly on greasy and very dirty ground.
-
SureTrax tread
The SureTrax tread is characterized by a large contact surface and a high load-bearing capacity. Ideally suited to fixed and other hard surfaces.
-
RP tread
With the large contact area, you can take care driving on the ground. As a result, the RP tread is particularly well suited to use on grass areas.
-
MPT tread
The MPT tread provides the perfect combination of good traction on uneven terrain and quick transit on the road.
-
Multiuse
The Multiuse tread has been especially designed for mixed, all-year-round use and for different climatic conditions. It provides a good level of traction on loose substrates in the summer, and good stability on snow and slippery carriageways in the winter.
