When development first began on the Weidemann machine factory, there was a farm, a village smithy, two brothers and their great mutual technical interest. With this focus, they soon formed a second, industrial pillar.
Thus in 1960, the machine factory Weidemann KG was founded in which the production of different components and devices was performed. The great breakthrough came 12 years later with the invention of the Hoftrac, the small articulated wheel loader, which could often the cumbersome manual tasks on farms. This then revolutionary machine quickly spread.
The Weidemann range currently includes articulated and compact farm loaders, wheel loaders, tele wheel loaders, all-wheel telehandlers, and a large selection of attachments and tires. Weidemann is one of the leading manufacturers of these machines for the agricultural and equestrian industry, timber industry, biogas plants, municipalities, plant nurseries, trade and industry in central Europe.
