The start of a new collaboration
Korbach/Lithuania. On the 1st of August 2025, UAB Ivabalte will begin working with Weidemann GmbH, the established specialist for Hoftracs®, wheel loaders, telescopic wheel loaders and telescopic loaders. This product range will now be available in Lithuania at the three UAB ‘Ivabalte’ locations in Rokiskis, Kedainiu and Šiauliai.
Lithuania has historically been an important agricultural country. The agricultural sector fulfils very important economic, social, environmental and ethnocultural functions and is considered a priority economic sector. It is the second largest sector of the Lithuanian economy: agriculture, forestry and fisheries accounted for around 3.3 per cent of gross value added, and exports of agricultural and food products accounted for around 19.4 per cent of Lithuania's total exports.
The more than 2 million hectares of agricultural land are used for traditional crop production, including cereals, oilseeds, legumes and maize. However, other crops such as vegetables and fruit are also widely grown in the country. Of the more than 47,000 dairy and meat-producing farms, the majority (around 80%) are small to medium-sized family businesses. Here, the Weidemann product range offers excellent solutions for livestock farmers with its various machine types, powerful performance, compact dimensions and high maneuverability. Weidemann also offers ideal solutions for heavy material handling on large farms. In addition Weidemann provides many solutions in the horse husbandry sector. UAB ‘Ivabalte’ also targets many other groups, such as the municipal public sector, commercial enterprises, industry, hotels/tourism and several others.
For customers in Lithuania, this means that the premium brands Fendt, Rauch, Lemken, Joskin, Triolet and, from now on, Weidemann cover a wide range of agricultural needs. The UAB ‘Ivabalte’ team of around 70 employees provides expert coverage in the areas of sales, customer service and spare parts. With around 30 customer service vehicles, Ivabalte brings its fast and reliable workshop service to where it is needed: directly to the customer's premises.

On the 28th of May 2025 at the Weidemann production plant in Korbach, North Hesse: the start of the collaboration between Weidemann and UAB ‘Ivabalte’ is marked by an initial product training session for sales representatives and a tour of the modern development and production facility.
